Meet Your Doula & NCS

Howdy! I’m Elizabeth. Most folks call me Liz, but the kiddos know me as Lizzy.

I’m a devoted childcare professional with over a decade of experience across a wide range of settings, including in the classroom as a teacher, in private homes as a professional nanny and family assistant, and most recently as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula. While my roles have evolved, my heart has remained firmly rooted in education, trust, and wholehearted service to families.

Beyond my work, I’m deeply committed to my own little crew: my best friend and husband, Josh, and our beloved cat, Petey. I’m a novice powerlifter, lifelong musician, and beach bum at heart. I’m also a children’s book author and can’t wait to see my first work - My Friend, Frida - come to life in print!

My faith anchors me, laughter fuels me, and serving others is my mission.

If you're searching for a reliable, creative, and values-driven caregiver to support your family, it would be my joy to be part of your village.

My mission:

To be a steady and loving part of a family’s village by offering hands-on newborn care and emotional support that centers on the needs of both baby and parent. With warmth, skill, and deep respect, I help parents feel rested, capable, and never alone.

What Makes Me the Doula and NCS for you?

What sets me apart as your Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and Postpartum Doula (PpDoula) is the unique blend of professional expertise, nurturing care, and heartfelt dedication I bring to every family I serve. With a strong foundation in early childhood development, education, and family support, I’ve spent years creating environments where both children and families feel safe, supported, and empowered.

With 12 years of professional childcare experience, I’ve supported families in many roles, including professional nanny, family assistant, and former classroom lead teacher. I’ve worked hands-on through every stage of early development, from newborn care to milestone tracking and lesson planning. I hold an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education along with multiple certifications, all of which shape my structured yet flexible approach to care. I prioritize safety, emotional well-being, and developmental support while also ensuring that parents feel seen, supported, and empowered during this important transition.

My goal is to meet you where you are with compassion, competence, and customized care, so you can rest, recover, and truly enjoy those precious early days with your baby.
